Something is wrong with your solar. We find out what.

Repairs, fault-finding and warranty claims — on systems we installed and on systems we did not. Most of the work we do now is on other companies’ equipment.

Signs your system needs looking at

Your bill went up, not down

The clearest signal, and the one people notice last. If your power bill is creeping back toward pre-solar numbers, the array is not carrying its share any more.

The monitoring app shows zero

Or shows nothing at all. A dead inverter can sit unnoticed for months, because nothing in the house changes when it stops.

One string is down

Panels are wired in groups. Lose one group to a failed optimizer or a bad connection and you can drop a third of your output while the system still looks fine from the kerb.

Something visibly changed

Storm damage, a cracked panel, animals nesting under the array, conduit pulling away from the roof. If it looks wrong, it usually is.

What we work on

Panels, inverters, optimizers and microinverters, racking and roof penetrations, conduit and wiring, monitoring hardware, and the utility disconnect. Most major brands.

We service systems we did not install. A good share of Virginia solar was sold by companies that no longer exist, and those systems still need someone. We take them on.

Your warranty probably outlived your installer

This is the part most homeowners get wrong. Panel and inverter warranties come from the manufacturer — typically 10 to 25 years — and they stay live no matter what happened to the company that did the install.

What you lost was the workmanship warranty and the person who knew how to file a claim. We can often still claim against the manufacturer on your behalf, which means the part is free and you are only paying for labour.

How a service call works

1. Tell us what you are seeing. Bill, app screenshot, or just “it looks wrong” — all useful.

2. We diagnose on site. Production data against what the system should be making, then the physical inspection.

3. You get the number before we start. Written quote, and a straight answer on what is urgent versus what can wait.

4. We fix it, and tell you how to keep it fixed. Often that is Complete Care so it does not drift again.

Not sure if it is worth a call?

Ring us and describe it — (804) 592-0306. If it is nothing, we will tell you it is nothing. If your installer has gone under, start with the $400 system audit.
