These Terms of Use govern your use of virginiaenergysolutions.com and gosolarquiz.com, both operated by Virginia Energy Solutions, LLC (“Virginia Energy Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our sites, submitting a form, or agreeing to receive messages from us, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the sites.
Who may use these sites
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you request a quote for a property, you confirm that you own it or are authorized to act for the owner. We serve customers in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Estimates are estimates
Our savings calculators, quiz results, and any figures shown before a site visit are preliminary estimates generated from the answers you provide. They are illustrations, not offers, quotes, guarantees, or promises of performance. Actual system size, production, cost and savings depend on a roof measurement, shading analysis, your real utility usage and rate, equipment selection, permitting, and utility interconnection.
Electricity rates, utility policies, net metering rules, tax law, and incentive programs change, and we do not control any of them. Nothing on these sites is tax, legal or financial advice. Talk to a qualified tax professional about how any incentive applies to your situation. A binding price and scope exist only in a written proposal or contract that we and you have both signed.
Calls, texts and emails
When you submit a form and check the applicable consent box, you agree that we may contact you at the number and email you provided, including by automated technology and prerecorded messages, about your request and about our services. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Our text program works like this:
- What we send. Appointment confirmations and reminders, updates about work in progress, replies to your questions, and — if you separately agreed to it — offers and information about our services.
- Message frequency varies depending on where you are in the process.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s charges are between you and your carrier.
- To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts. For help, reply HELP or call us at (804) 592-0306.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- To join again after opting out, submit a form on our site or ask us to re-enroll you.
How we handle the information behind these messages is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate information, to use the sites lawfully, and not to interfere with them — no scraping, no attempts to gain unauthorized access, no uploading of malicious code, and no use of our forms to submit someone else’s contact details without their permission.
Our content
The text, images, logos, layouts, calculators and other material on these sites belong to Virginia Energy Solutions or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating our services. You may not copy, republish, or use our material commercially without our written permission.
Third-party links and services
Our sites link to and rely on services operated by others — scheduling, financing, mapping, analytics, manufacturers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your dealings with them are governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
These sites and their content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the sites will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the estimates they generate will match a final proposal. This disclaimer applies to the websites and the information on them. It does not limit any written workmanship warranty or manufacturer warranty that comes with work we actually perform — those are set out in your contract and in the manufacturer’s documents.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Virginia Energy Solutions and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost savings, arising out of your use of these sites or your reliance on an estimate produced by them. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Virginia Energy Solutions harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising out of your misuse of the sites, your violation of these terms, or your submission of someone else’s information without authority.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the sites will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may revise these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept the revised terms.
