Questions we get asked
Can I not just hose them off myself?
You can, and plenty of people do. Two cautions: getting on a roof is the most dangerous part of owning solar, and hard water leaves mineral deposits that hold dirt worse than what you removed. We use deionised water and stay off your roof wherever we can reach from a pole.
Does rain not clean them?
Rain moves loose dust. It does not shift pollen film, bird mess, or the greasy layer that builds up near roads and farmland.
You did not install my system. Can I still sign up?
Yes. A good number of the systems we maintain were installed by companies that are no longer in business. We start with a one-time audit so we know what we are taking on.
Is there a contract?
Month to month. If we are not earning it, cancel.
Will cleaning void my panel warranty?
No — but improper cleaning can. That is a good reason to have someone who knows the equipment do it.
What if my roof is hard to get to?
The $20 a panel price assumes standard access. If your roof needs special equipment we will tell you before anything is scheduled, not after.
